Holidays are fun to celebrate with furry family members, but the abundance of guests, commotion, and food can be challenging for you and your dog. A treat toy is a fantastic way to keep your dog relaxed and occupied during the holiday madness—or any time your dog needs a long-lasting treat.

Here’s a mouth-watering recipe that you can make ahead of time to keep your dog happy so that you can enjoy your holiday dinner. Try it! Your dog will be thankful (and so will your guests)!

INGREDIENTS:

·         Frozen peas & carrots

·         Cooked sweet potato

·         Cooked turkey

·         On Cue! Training Treats

HOW TO STUFF IT:

1.     Cut the turkey into small pieces and mash (using a fork or potato masher) together with the On Cue! Training Treats, sweet potato, peas, and carrots. Alternatively, place all ingredients in a food processor.

2.     Spoon the mixture into the treat toy. Either serve the snack as is or freeze it to create a longer-lasting treat!
