The new scholarships are part of KPA’s ongoing effort to expand inclusiveness in the positive reinforcement animal training community. In addition to the 14 scholarships to the DTP program, KPA offers scholarship opportunities for its introductory and comprehensive online dog training courses.

About the Dog Trainer Professional Program
Designed for people who have an interest in training animals professionally, KPA’s Dog Trainer Professional program is a comprehensive program that teaches both the science and practice of dog training. Based on the most up-to-date behavior science and modern training and teaching practices, this 6-month course combines online learning with hands-on teaching from some of the most experienced teachers in the field.
