Waltham, MA, April 13, 2021—Karen Pryor Academy (KPA) is thrilled to announce Dog Trainer Professional (DTP) scholarship opportunities for people who are Black, Indigenous, or otherwise of Color. This year, 14 scholarships for $2,500 each will be offered throughout the United States and Canada in the following locations:

Columbus, OH | Apply by August 13
Atlanta, GA | Apply by August 18

The new scholarships are part of KPA’s ongoing effort to expand inclusiveness in the positive reinforcement animal training community. In addition to the 14 scholarships to the DTP program, KPA offers scholarship opportunities for its introductory and comprehensive online dog training courses.

Designed for people who have an interest in training animals professionally, KPA’s Dog Trainer Professional program is a comprehensive program that teaches both the science and practice of dog training.
