A frequent question is, “How do I bond with my pup?” With playtime, of course! Puppies that enjoy playing are more likely to become comfortable around people. The more puppies and their humans play, the closer they will grow and the better they will trust and understand one another.

Interactive games provide people and pups quality time together. This video by KPA CTP Sarah Walsh shows how games such as tug teach puppies how to interact and help them learn how to turn play on and off. Some puppies will want to play the minute they arrive, while others may need time to adjust to the new environment.
