KPA faculty member on chicago tv
KPA faculty member Laura Monaco Torelli was featured recently on FOX 32 Chicago where she offered advice on how to help pets get adjusted to a new home. Inspired by the recent relocation of President Biden, his family, and the family dogs from their home in Delaware to the White House, Laura discussed how to make moving easier for a pet.

Sharing the screen with her dog, Santino, Laura described how dogs benefit from consistency as they explore new “sights, sounds, and smells.” Ensuring that favorite toys—and favorite treats—are part of the move, updating tags and contact information, and searching out and eliminating dangers such as poisons in the new environment are essential steps for a successful move.
