successful dog training classes: making repetition fun
In this video, Jill Seward is helping her students at Kinship Dog Training teach their dogs the “sit” and “down” behaviors through repetition. However, rather than having her students focus on and repeat one behavior at a time, she is instructing her students to alternate them (i.e., “sit” then “down”). When the repetition is gamified, Jill’s students have more fun while their dogs are engaged and eager for their next cue!
