Christina found Karen Pryor and the clicker philosophy after reading Don’t Shoot the Dog while researching methods to help a leash-aggressive Siberian husky adopted from her local shelter.
Services offered are group or in-home and emphasize helping pets and owners establish good habits. Christina's goal for her clients is to maintain a calm, happy home life for both owners and their dog(s). Areas of expertise include integrating new pets into the household, helping with aggressive behavior, giving a puppy the best possible start in life, and blending human expectations with canine reality.

In 2006, Christina left the corporate world and founded Half Moon Husky Rescue, a non-profit organization that specializes in the rehabilitation of Siberian huskies relinquished for behavioral problems.
Christina and her dogs regularly participate in mushing events such as dry land carting, scootering, snow sledding, and cani-cross.
Christina is also a member of the Animal Behavior Management Alliance (ABMA),Truly Dog Friendly, Doggone Safe, the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and is a trainer for Freedom Dogs, a non-profit organization providing specialty service dogs to military veterans.
Christina lives in Central Oregon along with her husband, several Siberian huskies, and one very old and very patient cat.
