Lynn Martin is the owner and head trainer at the Dog Obedience Academy, where good manners for companion dogs are a priority. This is where positive reinforcement training meets the community!
- Bio
Lynn has a BS and an MS in nurse anesthesia. When there was an opportunity to refocus her career path, Lynn knew that this was her chance to focus on her passion and become a professional dog trainer.
After completing the program at Animal Behavior College and earning her certification with the Council on Certification for Pet Dog Trainers, Lynn attended Karen Pryor Academy and became a Certified Training Partner.
To blend both her medical and canine careers, Lynn is a certified Pet CPR and First Aid Instructor.
- Services offered
The Dog Obedience Academy offers "Pet Dog Manners" in a step/level format, "Puppy Class" and "Canine Good Citizen Class," and certification.
Private training is also available at our training center.
We have a "Board and Train" program at our kennel in Scio, Oregon.
CPR Class and Certification is offered quarterly.
