Daniel De La Rosa has been showing and training dogs for more than 15 years. He trained at People Training For Dogs in Nyack, NY for three years before relocating to Hollywood, FL in April 2008. Daniel moved with his dogs and clicker chickens, and now owns Petropolis Park.

- Bio
Daniel's first Akita, "Remi," earned his CD title in 1992. Daniel also earned AKC Champion titles with his next Akita, "Riki," and with his Bichon Frise, "Chanel." He has shown dogs at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Current dogs include Akitas "Neko" and "Yeti," rescued shepherd mix "Bucca," and Belgian Malinois, "GYPSY."
Neko earned his American/Canadian Champion titles exclusively owner-handled, and also won AKC Rally Novice, APDT Rally level 1, and CGC titles. Yeti earned her RN, RL1, and CGC titles.
Daniel and Bucca compete extensively in APDT Rally and CDSP Obedience. At three years old, Bucca's titles include APDT Rally Champion Extraordinaire, RL1X, RL2X2, RL3X2, CD-H, and CGC. Bucca is the #2 APDT Rally mixed breed dog in the USA for 2007.
Belgian Malinois "GYPSY" born September 7, 2007 just started competing in June 2009 at 19 months old. Earned her CGC certification then earned her Rally Novice title in one weekend at the West Palm Beach Kennel Club Obedience trial. November 13, 2009 GYPSY earned her Schutzhund BH Obedience title.
Daniel is very passionate about the care and training of his dogs, and has a genuine desire to share his knowledge and experience. When not training dogs, he enjoys singing opera and Spanish zarzuela. Before moving to Florida in April 2008 Daniel was a maître d' at Daniel Boulud's four-star New York City restaurant, Restaurant Daniel.
